What should you look for in a length roofing batten?
You should always look for the four S’s.
- The British Standard Mark BS5534.
- The size of the timber.
- The supplier ie Kurekss one of the finest Latvian Mills for British roofing batten.
- The species ie WPCA indicates that it’s a pine, spruce origin.
We stock 11mm, 18mm and 18mm tongue and groove (T&G) OSB boards.
What does all the writing on the OSB boards mean?
EN300 means that it’s intended use is for structural purposes in humid conditions.
BBA accreditation.
The CE mark is the European Conformity to health and safety requirements.
The thickness of the boards should be individually marked too.
